Bailey Park

An Overview

Bailey Park is a fairly large family park with enticing food trucks, viewings of film favorites, and optimistic people willing to get fit and exercise. This park is dedicated to any and everybody for a breath of fresh air, a bite to eat, or even a place to get exercise. Bailey Park is located in Downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina at 445 Patterson Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. 

Events

Many different activities take place at Bailey Park including cultural events, festivals, concerts (with multiple genres of music), wellness activities, and more. They have a calendar for the upcoming events they plan along with descriptions of each event. 

Trails

Long Branch Trail reaches all the way to Salem Lake and extends as a 20-mile loop and back. This trail is used as a connection of the city to the district and connects the community of streets in the area.

Innovation Quarter

Behind Bailey Park is Innovation Quarter, in the look of Wake Forest University and Wexford, this building is of science and technology/research needs. Many academic establishments and small businesses gather here for the use of the tech, facility, and services the building provides. 

Programs

Innovation Quarter invites those willing to find the group in which one may feel they belong by the creation of different programs. Indoor and Outdoor activities are available for the purpose of social interaction, not only can one find a familiar group in which they relate but also get involved in new programs and incorporate new social interactions. 

Arts

Art has multiple roles in the community of Winston-Salem, specifically giving those a voice by the expression of art. Building relationships, solving problems, and reaching social equity are goals of the social interaction that Innovation Quarter is beginning to instill in the environment of Bailey Park.
