Cock Robin Wood is situated next to the Sainsbury's roundabout on Dunchurch Road. It covers 9.9 acres broadleaved woodland with a pond and footpaths. The wood was created in 1989 by Sainsbury's and given to Rugby Borough Council in 1993 as a condition of planning agreement for the new supermarket, and is maintained by Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Car parking is available with access from the Dunchurch Road.

Cock Robin Wood is a nature reserve in which many trees, shrubs and wildflowers have been planted to provide food and shelter for birds, butterflies and small mammals. The large pond was created for dragonflies and other amphibians. Great diving beetles and water boatman hunt in the water while pond skaters and whirligig beetles speed across the surface. A sculpture trail runs through the site, which is suitable for disabled access.
