      • Résumé : Vente d’une partie du lot no 1 du 9e rang du Canton de Stanstead : « …being the same as more particularly described in and by that certain Indenture of Grant and Release, heretofore made and granted by one Sylvanus Cobb Haskell to the said Stephen Foster Junior executed before the said undersigned Notary Public and two other witnesses on the [22nd] day of June [1831] […] with the exception of the several pieces or parcel of land and privileges and premises therein and thereby described and reserved […] also save and except the piece sold to Franklin Wright and whereon a tannery is erected, now belonging to Ozro Morrill and Hiram Bishop together with the whole of the dwelling house, shed, barn and hog pen thereon erected by the said Sylvanus Cobb Haskell, also all other the Buildings, Mills, Mill dams, water courses, houses and Barns thereon erected and built and with all the privilege from the Southwest boundary up the River belonging heretofore to one Charles Kilborn, not infringing on any land heretofore sold, and all other the Eights, privileges and premises heretofore granted to the said Stephen Foster Junior ». Tout cela en plus d’une terre de 200 acres dans le lot no 22 du 13e rang du canton de Stanstead et d’une autre parcelle du lot no 1 du 9e rang du Canton de Stanstead : « the undivided half or moiety of that certain other piece, tract or parcel of land […] bounded and described as follows, towards the East by the Highway, and extend along said highway, North sixty feet from the distance of ten feet south of the store, and extend in depth to the West forty three feet exact measure, and from thence North at parallel lines with the highway sixty feet in front by forty three in depth and being the same as now occupied by […] Spalding, Foster and Company with half of said Store and of all buildings and improvements thereon erected and made […] ». L’ensemble est vendu pour la somme de 1250 pounds.

Haskell by Grant and Release, dated the [16th] day of September [1828] […] » . Le lot est vendu pour la somme de 200 pounds. [Vente de la deuxième moitié du terrain du commerce, avec son bâtiment, à Spalding ; Spalding devient donc théoriquement le propriétaire unique du lot, Voir # 2461]
