Blue Chalk Cafe was a pool hall-turned-nightclub and bar located at Ramona Street in Palo Alto. It opened in approx. 1993 and was started by a pair of Stanford graduates. The owners had also owned a small chain of restaurants called "Left At Albuquerque". When it opened it had replaced the London House English Tea Room.

On July 13, 2008, when 27-year-old Philip Lacy of Millbrae, California was shot and killed in front of the business; and Otto Emil Koloto was convicted of his murder committed during the course of a robbery. With the increase of crime issues, Blue Chalk Cafe closed in early 2010.
