The West Oakland Mutual Loan Association was located in an office at the Masonic Hall, corner of Willow and Seventh Streets. Incorporated on July 21, 1857. In 1887 the association meetings were held at the Masonic Hall on Monday and Thursday evenings with A. Sbarboro as Secretary.
