Oakland Parks Coalition was a volunteer organization that works to improve parkland in Oakland by bringing together community members, organizations, public agencies and businesses. In January, 2015, they merged with Friends of Oakland Parks and Recreation to form the Oakland Parks & Recreation Foundation. 1
