Inter-City Express is a daily publication. It was originally founded as legal publication aimed at lawyers and building contractors. It is published Monday through Friday.

The paper was founded in 1909 by Perry W. MacDonald and Joseph C. Laney. They also started a printing division.

The company was run for many years by members of MacDonald's family. It is now owned by the Daily Journal Corporation, and appears to be mainly used for printing required legal notices.
