There are a variety of volunteering opportunities around Menomonie and at Stout. These range from helping other people, animals, and even Menomonie's natural habitats (water clean up, parks). If you attend UW-Stout or might in the future, you can also check out the sororities and frats on campus. They do various fundraising and volunteering events throughout the school year.

Stepping Stones - Provides food, shelter, and support for people in need in Dunn County. 

Dunn County Humane Society - The shelter relies on volunteers to help with all aspects of animal care, fundraising, and outreach.

UW Sprout Campus Garden  - Local garden right on UW-Stout campus!

Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity - Around the Eau Claire area, CVHH is a group that helps (located in the volunteer section of their website): build 

homes, preparing meals, host fundraisers, serve on committees
