When the weather starts getting good in late spring, running becomes one of the most popular ways to exercise in Ithaca. Besides being arguably the most efficient activities for burning calories, it is one of the cheapest forms of exercise to be involved in, only requiring a pair of running shoes. Along with biking it is also a great way to take in the beautiful scenes of Ithaca.
