Chaman is the name given to the metal sculpture by Manuel Antonio Horn and referred to as Ithaca's Metal Man. The statue was in DeWitt Park until it went missing in May of 2010.
"Initially intended to be a temporary art installation as part of the Art in the Heart of the City initiative, "Chaman" proved so popular that the city decided to extend his residency and was considering acquiring him permanently for the park."1
