Blandford Nature Center offers community garden plots. They offer garden scholarships which are available for those with limited income. For the 2012 season they offered 50 plots for $40 each. This fee included:

• Garden space that is 8’x25’
• Initial tilling completed prior to April 13 (Weather permitting)
• Access to limited garden tools such as hoes, shovels, and  a wheelbarrow
• Locked tool shed for storage of personal tools
• Water access 
• Compost pile 
• Restrooms

The Farm at Blandford Nature Center no longer has gardening plots for rent. We do have CSA shares available to members (2015 summer season is full!) and fresh, organic produce can be purchased at the Downtown Market and the Fulton Street Farmer's Market in Grand Rapids.
