This Italianate home was built in 1880 by George Gould, who started the manufacture of brooms in Grand Rapids. It's next owner was Peter Reynders who was a constable from the second ward. Prospect Avenue continues to be the home of city politicians as our current 2nd ward City Commissioner, Linda Samuelson lives a block away.
