Bern Kreissman was the UC Davis University Librarian from 1974 until his retirement in 1986. Since 1986, Bern has been very busy volunteering with the Sierra Club, leading snowshoe hikes and backpack trips, and self-publishing a number of acclaimed works via his independent publishing house, Bear Klaw Press.
