Our Mission: FLY is a mobile nonprofit art center that brings meaningful art making experiences to children in Southeastern Michigan. We convert public schools, libraries, and community centers into temporary art studios by bringing in supplies and studio staff. Our classes are free to the children who attend them because we believe all children are makers who deserve the chance to actively experiment, fail, innovate and succeed.
