Overview

Graham/Mebane Lake is a 650 acre municipal reservoir located in Alamance County. Aside from being a major water source for Mebane, GML offers sport fishing, boating, skiing, paddle sports, bank fishing and picnicking.  The lake is located at 3218 Bason  RoadMebane, NC  27302.

 


Recreation

While swimming is not permitted, the lake features a kayak launch for easy launching of kayaks, paddleboards and canoes.  They also rent kayaks and canoes.

Visit the marina office to purchase permits, bait, fishing supplies and concessions.


 

Fishing
 

GML offers a seven-lane boat ramp and tow docks for securing boats. Several tournaments and family programs are scheduled throughout the year.  

The bank fishing area features approximately 1000 feet of shoreline, two fishing piers, multiple fish attractors, picnic tables and a shelter.


 

Policies

Graham/Mebane Lake follows NCWRC boating rules and regulations and they are an alcohol-free facility. Pets must be leashed with leash in hand.   Restrooms are available at the marina and along the bank fishing area.
